Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center invites you to attend the 22th Annual Bill T. Teague Lectureship in Transfusion Medicine.

This year’s lecture, entitled “Back to the Future: A Retrospective Journey in Blood Safety" will be presented by Dr. Susan L. Stramer, Vice President of Scientific Affairs, American Red Cross.

Over the past 30 years, there has been a continued progress in blood safety with respect to transmissible diseases. This lecture will describe interventions used to improve blood safety relative to existing and emerging infectious agents, as well as describe future technologies and evolving threats.

Lunch will be served prior to the lectureship. Tickets are free of charge.


Parking
Park in Garage 2 (entrance on Richard J.V. Johnson Avenue at Holcombe Boulevard). Alternatively, park in Garage 1. Bring yellow parking chip for validation. The only entrance to the Cooley Building is through St. Luke's Hospital lobby on Bates Street. The auditorium is located on the lower level of the Cooley Building, accessible by the green elevators.
